Starting With Filtered Coffee

Filtered coffee is a popular and easy-to-make coffee brewing method that uses a coffee maker and paper filters. Here’s how to make filtered coffee:
Ingredients:

  • Coffee beans (medium grind)
  • Water
  • Paper coffee filter

Tools:

  • Coffee maker
  • Coffee grinder (optional)
  • Measuring cup
  • Spoon

Instructions:

  1. Fill the coffee maker’s water reservoir with fresh, cold water. Use the measuring cup to add the desired amount of water for your coffee.
  2. Place a paper coffee filter into the filter basket.
  3. If using whole bean coffee, grind the beans to a medium grind size. Use the coffee maker’s recommended amount of coffee for your desired amount of coffee.
  4. Place the coffee grounds into the filter.
  5. Turn on the coffee maker and wait for the coffee to brew.
  6. Once the coffee is done brewing, turn off the coffee maker and remove the filter basket. Discard the used coffee grounds and filter.
  7. Pour the freshly brewed coffee into a mug or carafe.
  8. Add any desired sweeteners or creamer, and enjoy!
